So the other day was a cold and rainy day here in Minnesota. Not ideal for playing outside, and, needless to say, my kids were getting a little squirrelly. I pulled out the Square One Kids Easy Playown Set I was sent to try, and their eyes lit up with excitement!
While the littlest one napped, I set out markers and crayons for my boys and let their imaginations run wild! My boys love to color and draw, so they spent over an hour coloring the Square One Kids Easy Playtown Set, which includes a cardboard play mat, two cardboard houses, and a cardboard castle.
Finally they had enough coloring and were ready to start playing. While they got their “guys” (an assortment of Army guys, super heroes, and ninjas), I set up their town on the floor.
Pretty soon there were guys strewn all over and lots of very animated playing. My oldest boy, Alex, preferred the castle, while my youngest boy, Hosea, really enjoyed using the houses.
Even my little girl, Abby, got in on the action once she woke up from her nap. I loved watching them all play and create their own scenarios!
Even though they spent a long time coloring, there was still plenty room for them to add on to their creations later. They can also reverse the cardboard and color on the other side as well. So there is still plenty of use left for another rainy day! I love the versatility of the set and the fact that it allows my kids to use their imagination to its fullest!
